I spoke to tech support for a product that I'm buying. In the end I will need to take my truck to the dealer for ecm reprogram. I told him fine but I dreaded going there.
He said I know I used to work for an auto dealership. He said it's not about customer service, it is completely about money. True they are a for profit operation but no matter how incompetent or how many issues pop up the customer is eating all of it. If they were 100 % efficient they would then want to squeeze or cut or pass on even more to the customer. It's like a machine that must always get more no matter who has to pay. I said I believe that's a pretty good description.
