You totally miss the point. The prices in OR are higher than they COULD be because of the cost of the attendant. You like paying $0.07/gallon more because you have an attendant?

I was thinking in the beginning that all the crazy facebook posts by OR citizens complaining about having to fill up themselves were just aberrations. I think I am changing my mind.

When its raining about an 1" an hour and its 40 deg. the wind is blowing 30mph, its like that a lot here in the winter. you would be soaked to the bone filling your tank. its well worth the .07

In winter it gets minus 30 here and I still dont mind pumping my own gas,,something about being self suficient,handy maybe?

if that's what it takes to make you feel self sufficient i'm sorry for you. as for me and most of the people of Oregon we like our gas pumped. if you don't like it stay away, if it bothers you I suggest you read a book or something to get your mind off of it, you'll feel better.
