The FAA requires STRICT PMA adhesion to materials, performance and maintenance protocols. Aircraft even private planes must have over-voltage devices that shut down charging systems. Commercial passenger aircraft are infinitely more complex and stricter.
So please can someone tell me WHY all the rules and regulations FAILED to prevent lithium battery FIRES on it's aircraft? Supposedly the fix cost tens of thousands of dollars per airplane. Involves COMPUTER management. Victron batteries got computers?
