Yup, 4 100ah LifePo4’s in parallel would provide 400ah (under even high loads), assuming they’re discharged from 100% to 0% SOC (and well balanced). Some might recommend only discharging to 10-20% for max longevity, which nets 360-320ah.

However, a set of 4 GC2’s would only net approx. 210ah (not 420ah) discharging from 100% to 50% (recommended for lead cells) under relatively low load. Also, under very high loads GC2’s will very likely stumble and not provide the full 210ah.

LifePo4 don’t off-gas, so no worries about placing them inside the living area of a camper.

As for the price, well, as they say, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is :)

If you decide to give it a shot, use a credit card you trust, I'd use a one-time number, keep all records, take screen shots of order pages, and be prepared for the fact it could be a couple months to get your money/charge refunded.

And yes, it is not real. They keep the price low enough so many people won't bother to fight to get their money back. You won't get the batteries shown.

Completely agree, it's a super low price. I was hoping maybe somebody already ordered these so I wouldn't have to be the guinea pig...

Although as the tech improves, costs come down. The same 100 a/h 12v LiFePO battery under the Renogy brand is $849 at Home Depot.

Not everything that comes out of China is junk, I know folks here have reported excellent deals if you're careful about what you're buying. It's unlikely that this 4-pack of batteries fits that bill, but what's a good LiFePO battery to look for?

There's a number of decent 100ah lifepo4 batteries for sale on Amazon for less than $400. I'd suggest looking for those with a max continuous discharge current of 100a. Some are only 50a, which generally indicates a less capable BMS and smaller internal wiring. Also, low-temp protection is a nice feature to have. Youtube has some excellent teardowns on some of these units you may find useful.

Quite a few folks here are always on the lookout for the latest and greatest lifepo4 deals. Hopefully they'll chime in shortly :)
