THAT is the kicker some of you seem to be blind to. He has LESS wattage producing potential than you folks do. Those highly freaked B&D chargers have inrush. Have you challenged a thousand watt generator with one of the Black and Decker chargers?
I seemed to have screwed-up and done exactly that and have instantly stalled the generator. The Megawatt doesn't. Or of course one could choose a 15 and not a thirty amp charge rate and set the alarm clock for 2:00 AM

No one is suggesting the Meanwell isn't a good choice, only pointing out the fact that this is a manually adjusted charger that may not be suitable for use by the OP who by his own admission has little understanding of electrical issues. You'd do much better to make your arguments in rational terms that everyone can understand and avoid the rhetoric that few do. :W
