If this is what you have in mind, you can do this yourself MUCH cheaper. Just purchase the female receptacle, the wall box to screw it to, the face plate, and an extension cord. Cut the female end of the cord, strip the insulation off, and hook up the receptacle. Last step, plug it in.
I did this type of thing all over my last house, in the garage, to make extension cords. But I used heavier house hold wiring, and not extension cord, and put a male plug on the other end. Then I ran it over rafters, down the walls, or anywhere. After a while I simply tapped the wires down. When we sold the house, one of the inspectors did not like it. I simply unplugged, and removed the whole thing. I have that same wire in my current garage now.
You could do it this way, relatively inexpensive if you buy the items piece meal.
