For the use you've indicated nothing more than connectors, wire, and receptacles rated for 15 amp service is required - i.e. no need for anything "heavy duty" on the output side of the inverter, whatever you may mean by that. Just what is the rating of this inverter you're using anyway? :@
It will be the Samlex PST-600 which is more than needed, but the lightest to support a remote. The idle draw is .5 amps, the same as the PST-300. By HD extension cord, I meant a heavy outdoor type vs the thin indoor cords. The heavy rubber is more abrasion resistant but I agree that it is not necessary for the proposed use. But then, one never knows what the future holds.
