  • I checked and it is a single hose unit. We have one on the boat (a lot cheaper than $2000 for a marine unit) but it does exhaust already cooled air pulling in warm moist air.

It works OK but not nearly as good as a two hose unit.

And it's a bit over 12amps AC not 130 amps. Solar is probably not practical for an RV.
  • 4,000 watt solar panel

No hookups necessary. Wander indoors and outdoors without a single bead of swea.....er.....perspiration.
  • The reviews for some of their units I have looked at haven't been so good either.
  • The problem with it Haier I would not by one. I doubt there customer service has improved at all.

    Not bad.

Only problem, it has only one hose.
It will exhaust the hot air outside, but where does it suck the intake air to cool the condenser from??? It will create a vacuum in the room and suck in hot air from any crack or leak in the room.

I would go with a two hose unit.

No! IT's a hose within a hose for condenser air in/out. Yes not ideal. For inside, no vacuum in the room because it recirculates air for the evaporator airflow...

You are saying it has a fresh air intake hose INSIDE the exhaust hose??? I doubt it....they have a dual hose model that is almost exactly the same.
And yes it is for the CONDENSER cooling.
The evaporator is the part that gets cold.
