120W portable solar: works great! (and some questions)

We just got back from ten days in the Eastern Sierra – my new (well, “new to me”) 120 watt folding solar panels performed brilliantly. Easy to deploy, plug and play, and they kept the batteries fully...

No, a Turbo diesel VW Touareg TDI AWD SUV/Truck, as seen in the picture. 406 ft/lbs of torque, 240 HP, and I keep it at 57 to 58 most of the time, slower going up hill. I never push my equipment hard or abuse it. Slow and steady, like a tractor trailer, going up hill.
