Anyway, back to solar panels -- I have been shopping around for ten gauge wire -- I went to the store and felt it -- that stuff is very stiff and hard to handle or coil -- not good for a portable installation at all. Does anyone have any advice? I am going to look into the welding cable but have not yet found a local source for it.
Equalizer hitch, 600# version, tongue weight probably about 400. Not 20 MPG. 16.5 to 19.5 MPG's, pretty consistently. I get a lot of tail winds going up to Yellowstone, it seems, or the air is pretty thin up there to push through.
33-36 MPG if I keep it at 60-65 mph when not towing, and using the cruise control on good polished concrete Interstate road surface. 5000# SUV.
