12v electrical help needed

Need to understand what type of 12v switches are needed for this application.
Want to install one 12 light centered in pass-thru storage compartment on two separate switches (one at each storage compartment access door) so that light can be turned off/on from either switch.

    You need a pair of SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) switches.
    Connect power to the center pole of the first switch
    Run two wires between the switches, connected to each outer pole.
    Run a wire from the center pole of the second switch to your lights.
    Connect ground at the light to a ground point.

    Hope that's a sufficient explanation...

    I would install a dual lamp fixture. Bypass switch on this model. Wire one lamp to each of your compartment switch.
