My camper, listed below, uses what I believe is, a 30 amp shore power plug. I have a 15 amp adaptor. That is the standard looking plug in right? Am I correct in thinking a 50 amp connector is 220 v...

yup. I test each pedestal before I connect. my tester shows the voltage and proper wiring (proper ground, neutral, etc.) for each leg...~115 to 120-volts.
