1995, NORCOLD MODEL# 6182 FRIDGE RECALL?

HELLO, I have seen lots of videos of burnt RV's that has been blamed on the refridge. I have also seen where people have had recalls done. Is this a free recall? what do they replace? Is my fridge in the recall? I just want to be safe as possible so any info would be great. THANKS, WILL

ALL fridge recalls are free. Norcold 6182 have never had a recall. Doug

Will I think in was in 1996 or there abouts when the fire concerns started in a wide spread sense. We removed our 1992 Norcold 6162 a couple years ago to put in the Amish remanufactured cooling unit and there was no sign of hot spots in the frig closet when we removed it.

mine had a norcold and it caughthere photos of mine fire two nights ago total gone iam so hurt because of this this was all i had left in my life
