2000 F53 Fleetwood PAV Battery Isolation System?

I have a 2000 Fleetwood Pace Arrow Vision on a F53 chassis.  The coach or house batteries are not charging from the alternator when the engine is running.  I'm trying to find out:

  1. What type of Battery Isolation System I have?
  2. Where the solenoids and relay are located.

Thanks in advance for any information.

  • Hi, on a 2000 Fleetwood Pace Arrow Vision on the F53 chassis, a solenoid-type battery isolator is typically used rather than a diode isolator. It is usually located in a front compartment or near the power distribution center, sometimes in the engine bay. If the house batteries are not charging from the alternator while the engine is running, the most common causes are a failed isolator solenoid, a missing ignition trigger signal, or a wiring or fuse issue between the chassis and house batteries.
