Just purchased this Alantis 2002 class c quite 4000 Onan gen wont start Previous owner said they had hooked it up to a gas can and it ran fine I disconnected that fire hazard but now gen wont star...

I don't get it. Why would it have been hooked up to a gas can and not to the gas tank of the Motorhome like normal?
Anyhow, you might be experiencing problems with the fuel pump or the carburetor might be gummed up. On the other hand, could be a spark issue, not enough info to say.
