1998 Bigfoot 2500 series
Hello, i just recently got a bigfoot and noticed there is some delamination bulging on both sides 1 is very slight and the other is quite noticable on the right side right above the fridge access so top right, ive seen people say it could be due to sitting on jacks for a long time witch would make sense but there seems to be water intrusion on the windows, i was told it was bought from an estate sale so who knows how long its been sitting on jacks but the roof and mainly the sides seem pretty good. I know im going to pull the sides and fix it some time soon but concerned taking it on a trip if the wooden brace is compromised, really wanna get a couple trips it before i do so to feel it out and swap or install things when i do so69Views0likes6CommentsSlide Controller override switch replace?
The rubber / plastic button actuator on my Schwintek / Lippert slide controller was knocked off. I want to replace the switch indicated by the red circle. Has anybody done this? What switch did you use? I found one on Amazon that looks the same and is about the right size 6x6x5mm. I don't want to spend 100s on a new controller because this one works except for the button.31Views0likes1CommentRoute Help for 3 females!!! West Virginia!! I77 or i64???
My sisters and I are taking a road trip down south coming from Minnesota. Our first stop is Beckley, West Virginia. The next stop is Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Which way navigating the mountains better? I77 south or i64 east? I know going east would take longer but we are ok with going whichever way is easier. Worried about fancy gap going south and worried about Sandstone going east. After struggling going down a mountain hauling a camper last year in Utah I have a new respect for the mountain. This time my significant other won’t be with and we won’t be towing with my suburban. So my anxiety is a little high. Which route would you choose? We are going in the beginning of June.99Views0likes3CommentsToyhauler fuel tanks
Can anyone send some pictures of how the fuel station and generator tanks are mounted? I bought a 2007 387 skyline and it had no tanks. I couldn’t find anything on how they are supposed to be mounted so I connected the sensors to them and they marked empty when the sensor was upside down so I had thought I had figured it out that way. So there I go installing the tanks and I welded some brackets.. etc and after everything I was still unsure because I figured If the tanks are filled from the bottom the gasoline is going to have to be pressurized to fill up! I didn’t see how it could have been filled from the top since there are no holes in the frame and didn’t want to make one since it can weaken the frame. But if that’s how everyone else’s is I’ll make some holes and reroute the filler neck! If you have any pictures from a 2007 skyline that’ll be great or any other trailer cool too!61Views0likes1Comment2006 Fleetwood pioneer travel trailer
So I have no owners manual on this!! No experience what so ever in what I'm attempting to do! First thing i would assume is to learn about my camper. Where might I download a free copy of this? Please any info would be helpful, and thanks for your time and expertise. I'm soon to be traveling around.127Views0likes3Comments2015 thor Ace, generator runs but no power coming into RV
I recently replaced the fuel pump, oil, fan filter and spark plug on my Onan4000 bc it stopped running from sitting idle for a few months. Generator starts right up , but now I'm not getting any power inside the RV. I've gone over all the breakers (on the panel , battery bank and on the generator) checked all fuses and connections , found the ATS which seems to be in good condition (nothing burned or stuck). The gfci is stuck in the test setting, won't reset but I'm assuming it's from no power being present. This model does not have a plug to complete the circuit as some of the newer models have. Is there any fuse or hidden breaker somewhere that I'm missing? Thank you in advance Matt109Views0likes2CommentsUS Gear Tow Brake Issues
I have a US Gear Unified Tow brake system that has a bad control module and I understand that they are no longer producing this unit or parts for it. I found a unit out of Florida on e-bay and bought it but it also has a bad module. I love this system and have been using it on various toads for at least 20 years. My question is, does anyone have one just laying around that I could buy , or does anyone know the manufacturer of the circuit board. I'm desperate to find a working controller. Thanks so much!64Views0likes1Comment
