2007 Cedar Creek Silverback slide out issue

The big slide with the couch and dinette when sliding in...at the last 8 inches or so the top rear corner seems to hang. If someone is outside pushing not super hard before it catches...it will go all the way in.

I measured on full extension and the back end was one inch less extended than the front end. There is definitely more clearance top to bottom on the front seal area. Compared to the back edge and seal area.

I have loosened the bolts on the slide and got it almost the same distance. But it still grabs... takes less pressure to make it go in... but it is still a two person job. I also loosed the adjustments for front to back correction... but don't think I was getting it too move.

Is it possible the issue is resyncing the gears..

Any thoughts are welcome.

Thanks in advance
  • Need to know what brand and type of slideout mechanism to give any real useful advice.

That said, sounds like the timing may be off between the tracks of your slideout. Google retiming slideouts. Here is an article describing this. https://liveworkdream.com/2015/10/28/slideout-rails-adjustment/
