2019 attitude landing gear motor issues

I have a 2019 attitude that every time I go down on my landing gear, it pops the inline fuse. I have changed the motor the switch the short circuit relay even with the motor not connected and just sitting there, it still pops the fuse. I thought it went straight to the battery, but it looks like it goes Under the trailer, somewhere. Where else might it go that I'm missing? And why would it just short out on the down or extend?

  • might have a wire that is worn through and shorting somewhere.  Pain in the butt to find sometimes, but you can test that theory by just using a jumper wire to temporarily take the wire you are wondering about out of the picture.  if it works fine you can either inspect the wire and fix the shorted area, or just run a new wire.

Yeah thats the pain in the butt part. Thought the motor would just run from the batteries but it must tie in somewhere else as well.

no the leveling motors should all tie into a circuit board and that will be fed from the battery.  for example my circuit board is on the ceiling of the pass through front storage.

  • Put a bigger fuse in it.  Oops I didn't say that.  My first Raptor did that and I put next size fuse in and it never popped it.
