don't buy a generator, that would just make you a contributor to the disruption of everyone elses peace and quiet. plus with rulles on generator use popping up all over it may be somthing that you can't use when you want to depending where you are. the only time I say get a generator is if you have to run your ac. then solar and batteries become a little more expensive but the roof top space for the solar panels can become an issue
if you are serious about running a microwave then it is going to take a inverter as mentioned. a 2000 watt inverter will run any small to normal microwave, then you have to increase battery capacity to be able to handle that use. then instead of a generator you could look at solar panels. you could put enough solar / batteries and inverter on your rig to power the microwave here and there through out the day, for cheeper than you can buy a generator that will run it.

Pretty slanted opinion. There are lots of reasons and people that prefer the simplicity and cost of a generator even if you need to use it minimally. I'm sure you probably camp in places where it's disturbance is not an issue. Moot point anyway. This model comes with a 4k genny. The OP is simply confused about what runs on 12v and what runs on 120. It's a rabbit hole to start proposing inverters and battery banks. This is a small mh. Maybe the OP will actually return to confirm. Holding breath...

if it cones with a 4k genny why is he trying to run it on 12V, could it be that the genny is a option that he didn't get? kinda like the new truck camper I am getting, comes with genny prep and you can get a genny but I will find it more usefull to use as storage so I didn't get the genny option.

If everyone follows the rules and you don't like it, well that's your problem. And the next time you're tailgating at a sporting event, let me know how it goes when you tell everyone to quiet down their generator so we don't disturb you.
