I thought I would take a few photos of the LEDs I linked to give you a better idea of what I am talking about..
Comparison photos
LED on left and 20W Halogen on right against white background, you will notice the LED does not "reach" as far at the top of the photo but still it is pretty darn close to matching a 20W halogen!
Color in the photo looks a bit less yellow than the halogen but is pretty decent match also (I don't like the blueish white 6000K lights).
Measured current draw of LED at 12.01V DC
That is 1.63W at 12.01V DC!
