Saw this in the All Electronics sale flyer today: 12v On Demand Pump Good to have as a spare or use to transfer water from portable jugs when dry camping.

It's a spot sprayer pump. Typically found on a 14 or 15 gallon spot sprayer, made for killing weeds. Both Flojet and Shurflo (as well many other companies)build them by the thousands. Very inexpensive throw away pump.
