Some folks do not understand the conversion of watts to amps or amps to watts. Couple that with an inverter and it's inefficiency factor along with the conversion to DC....
How do you K.I.S.S. that?

If inverters are rate in WATTS and the TV is rated in WATTS, that is simple. And, therefore, a fairly good answer.
