26" LCD TV with DVD Player Power Draw?
I have searched the web and owners manual but cannot find out how many amps my LG 26" lcd tv w/dvd uses with the dvd player on. I plan on buying an inverter but not if the tv/dvd uses to many amps. wh...

The Sharp 26" lcd/dvd combo in our rig's bedroom draws just under 50 watts with dvd playing a movie and about 10 watts less with out dvd in operation. Manufacturer wattage ratings are usually the max wattage and in our case actual wattage during usage being lower than stated.
We have a pair of 6 volt GC batteries from Samsclub and we can easily run tv for several hours without significant depletion of battery bank. Since we did a full LED conversion 3 years ago battery bank rarely gets discharged anywhere near 50% of capacity. We have used both MSW and PSW for tv usage and have not noticed any difference in performance.
