The Sharp 26" lcd/dvd combo in our rig's bedroom draws just under 50 watts with dvd playing a movie and about 10 watts less with out dvd in operation. Manufacturer wattage ratings are usually the max wattage and in our case actual wattage during usage being lower than stated.
We have a pair of 6 volt GC batteries from Samsclub and we can easily run tv for several hours without significant depletion of battery bank. Since we did a full LED conversion 3 years ago battery bank rarely gets discharged anywhere near 50% of capacity. We have used both MSW and PSW for tv usage and have not noticed any difference in performance.
