I looked at the cost of wire at Lowes, about $14.00. Male 30a connector is about $20.00, a 50a twist lock connector is about $140.00:E. Cost is about $175.00+/- a couple bucks.
A short dogbone, $50.00, a 10' cord is about $30.00. Total cost about $80.00.
Making your own is easy and the expertise is here, tools needed; Phillips screwdriver, knife. Buying the two pieces is way cheaper and you can build two for the price of one 6 foot make your own.
