are you possibly confusing a 30-amp RV connector
with a 15-20 amp household connector?
both are usually found in a campground/RV Park hookup box. we've been motor homing for 32-years and, other on some portable gennys, have never encountered anything other than the standard 30-amp RV hookup. do you have a photo of the different hookups?
