300 KW solar panels

The other day we went to the dump and there was a lady there offering free cider and selling household solar installations. After listening to her pitch, I asked her if they sold 100-150 watt panels. She said, oh no, we use 300 Kilowatt panels.

After some discussion she still insisted they were 300 KW.

I thought about buying one for my MH but decided I couldn't afford the wire to carry the 12500 Amps, assuming they were 24v panels.

One panel would supply power for the whole campsite. WOW!!! :h

Interesting, George, I can't get solar panels or cider at any of the dump sites I use. LOL!

Ditto. And definitely wouldn't buy ANYTHING someone is hawking at a dump.

Our dump is sort of the place that is a meeting place. We usually meet someone we know when we go there. One of the joys of living in a small rural town.

  • LOL. Maybe she's a college educated nutritionist who gets her kilocalories mixed up with her kilowatts.
