Jim, I can ONLY speak for myself on this. We frequently have our 31' TT plugged into shore power at home using a 110 plug. I too have purchased a high quality extension cord. I run the fridge, lights, TV and air conditioner without ever having had a problem. I'm plugged into a 3 prong extension in the garage. Maybe I got lucky and found the right plug - maybe our house is really well wired (probably is). Earlier this year DW and me were studying for different state examination tests for work (Doc and Teacher). We each spent a week camped out 12 hours a day in the rig. No problems. But that's my experience.
