Not all household 120V AC outlets are the same: Some are 15 amp and some are 20 amp.
I wired our home's outside outlets to be 120V AC at 20 amps.
We keep our RV plugged into one of the home's outlets all the time by plugging it's 30 amp 30 foot shore cable into an adapter and then plugging the adapter into a 50 foot contractor grade extension cord - so there is a total of 80 feet of wiring between the wall outlet on the outside of the house and the RV.
Our RV refrigerator will of course run on AC with this setup with no problems whatsoever. We run the RV air conditioner (13.5K BTU size), or a 1500 watt electric heater inside the RV - BUT NOT BOTH - for hours on end this way, too, with no problems whatsoever.
Even with a 120V AC 20 amp home outlet, you should be careful as to what other home outlets are on the same circuit that the outside outlet is on ... or else turning on the RV air conditioner or an electric heater in the RV can trip the 20 amp home circuit breaker that feeds the outside wall outlet being used for the RV.
