ABS is my goto, especially if it's going outside or I'm painting or vaping it. ASA is fairly new. I have enough ABS to last at least a year. I may try ASA as an ABS replacement someday.
PETG has its place. The only filament I have ever lost due to moisture was PETG. I have a spool of translucent blue PETG now and really don't like it. I've been using it for prototyping just to burn it up and go back to black.
