your doing CF on brass? that nozzle is prolly making its way to 1mm by now lol.
Harden steel sux with poor heat transfer causing unpredictable issues. Got to slow it down. So, if I put on the steel for her to do wood I'll have to swap back to brass for the best PLA print. Not worth it. I'll wait for her to complain, swap the nozzle to a new brass 0.4 and be the hero.
I had a bad clog yesterday, I had my printer flying and it was bad.I haven't clogged at home but we have 2 Makerbots at work that are notorious for clogging. Those things are a POS. Bowden extruders are more prone to clogging, which they are.
Just got some cardboard spools, not remotely a fan, the filament looks significantly dirtier.LOL I've seen those. I'll pay more to avoid them. I'm not sure if they'll hold up to my spool holder. They need a plastic spool recycling program to keep from resorting to cardboard. Unfortunately I believe we'll see more cardboard in the future.
