4-way flasher intermittent operation

Thank you for the replies...I will try to clean out the cord ends between my m/home & the tow...been thru some bad weather, and may be corroded..let's hope that works...

If the flashers are flashing at all, it's almost certainly not the fuse.

I agree it's more likely to be a poor connection somewhere or a worn out flasher. If the turn signals work normally, I might start looking at the flasher switch itself, as I think often it's the same flasher unit that does both the hazards and the turn signals. (I'm sure that there are some vehicles where they use separate flashers for the hazards and turn signals...and perhaps even some that use separate flashers for left and right turn signals, since vehicle engineers seem to delight in doing things oddly.)

It can be a loose bulb or corrosion on the connections. The flasher works based on current draw on the circuit. If the current is low, the flasher will flash slowly or not at all. If there is too much current draw across the flasher, it will flash quickly.

It's probably on either side of the steering wheel under the dash. Try getting under the dash when it's clicking and see if you can hear it. Might lead you to the location. Just an Idea.
