I don't know about some of you folks. Ebay and PayPal both have ways and means of refunding your $40.00 if the deal goes belly up. I ordered one and am expecting delivery on April 10th
That is the weekend after Easter, so you can ask the Easter Bunny when you see him (or her!), if the solar will be on time for the next week :) - jrnymn7ExplorerDang! My order went thru as well, and is marked as shipped!
So, anyone interested in buying a 100w suitcase??? lol. - 2oldmanExplorer II

I don't either. Why anyone would expect a legitimate 400w solar package for $40 is beyond me. Or even 100w.

Good luck. I really hope you prove me wrong. - FrankShoreExplorerI don't know about some of you folks. Ebay and PayPal both have ways and means of refunding your $40.00 if the deal goes belly up. I ordered one and am expecting delivery on April 10th
- jrnymn7ExplorerYes, my link was to an ad that stated separate shipments, but the other 'hacked' ads do not say anything about this. This causes me to think the split shipment was that particular vendors normal way of doing things... various warehouses with various products... not necessarily out of the ordinary.
It appears the pricing is the only thing that has been changed... well, that, and the fact payments cannot go thru. I'm guessing the actual 'real' vendors are finding out after the fact, when buyers inquire as to why the sale didn't finalize. - MEXICOWANDERERExplorerIf eBay can be hacked that deep, beware. My money is stll 100% on the vendor himself was duped. WHY the split shipment? Ya wanna sting make it BURN.
- jrnymn7ExplorerStill no change in transaction status. My guess is, the vendor isn't even aware of the transaction, and the whole thing is just a dead end.

So it's been about an hour, and according to my paypal account, the payment is "pending", and "unclaimed", and it says the vendor "has not accepted yet".
So, it appears, at least, whoever is doing this cannot just take the money and run. It's likely more a matter of some hacker trying to teach ebay a lesson.
