Copper thieves will chop the cord and pull the stub out of your security loop. A stainless steel wire rope bonded to the cord would work.
I cannot tell you how happy I am with my 12-volt 50-mile fence charger. Thieves haven't got a clue as to what jolted them.
LOL.....have had them dewire and deplumb a building or two during construction, and a few years back a moron decided to go for the wires further up the pole and executed himself........pretty sure those wires were not copper lol.

LOL......Actually SCF, ours has now made it two seasons.......even the blue led still works and the attachment ring has not stripped. I may have set some kind of LCI all time record?
