5,000btu AC unit will not run o 1,500 watt inverter. Why?

Okay. This was just a test I did to see if it would work and it did not, so I am trying to figure out why. I bought a 1,500 (3000 peak) watt Travellers inverter at TS. I hooked it up to my TV bat...

Yep, and it will love seeing 10 volts. LOL Keep doing it over and over and see how long it lasts.
