Sorry for the delay. I had the power off in the basement to install some new light switched in the house. Anyway....back to the panel. There is no ground rod anywhere on the location. This place is OLD OLD OLD. The light switches I just replaced were ceramic if that tells you anything. Back to the garage. I just put in a new load center to prepare for the 50 amp service. There were only 3 wires coming into the old screw in fuse box. 2 hots and a neutral were all that was there. There is no ground rod anywhere to be found and everything is concrete inside and out so adding a ground rod will just be a PITA. If I have to then I will rent a hammer drill and put in a ground rod but if I can avoid it I will, but at this point the only way I have to "ground" anything is through the neutral bus.
