Cudda sworn starting batteries use CCA or MCA and cyclable smaller batteries used the 20/hr rate. Larger deep cycle batteries used to have various hour amperage discharge charts.
Yes I remember the charts they used to put on deep cycle batteries.
Then the deep cycle market seemed to pretty much settle down on the 20 amp as a standard, though some still offer additional ratings.
But my point was that most all the marine/starting batteries use the 1 amp method. A few will note this on the battery as few know what it really means. Most however just tout the big number that this method allows the battery to attain.
Like everything else, it's marketing, and though true, not really useful info for most.
