HOWEVER there is a big advantage to DEEP CYCLE over Marine/Deep cycle for house use. And the 6 volt GC-2 is a Deep cycle.
All true. The problem is that 12 volt batteries are often rare, heavy, and/or expensive.
I can't remember the last time I saw one for sale.
6 volts OTOH are plentiful, affordable, and don't require a crane.
All features that lend themselves to RV use.
