OK so you are right, I have done some monitoring of my WFCO and it does in fact struggle to go into boost mode. Funny that I never noticed this. So this has led to more questions for me. My current Bat is still charging to 100% even without boost mode. So is the purpose of boost mode to just speed up charging? Batteries will still charge to 100% with out boost? Would this be the same if I went to dual 12's or 6's?
The reason I ask is I can't afford new batteries and a new charger at once. My battery is at the end of its life so it has to be swapped out first. I do plan on upgrading my converter/charger but it won't be for several months. Will my old WFCO damage my new batteries with out a boost mode?
