7345 converter fan runs alot more

I have a 2002 31BHSS Trail Bay that we use at a seasonal site that has electrical hookup. My Magnetek 7345 converter fan runs a lot more than it used to, like every 20 min. and I don't use a battery except towing it home. Could this be a sign that the converter is starting fail?
  • It could be a sign that your battery is bad or even shorted and the converter is trying to bring the voltage up. I would disconnect the battery (conv. doesn't need it) and see if the fan cycling stops.
  • Dust behind front panel in our 7345 converter.

    After vacuuming

For safety's sake, disconnect shore power and ground wire from house batteries before working on converter.
