Hi,

This appears to be a bargain price. Any comments?

Epever seems to have a few issues periodically and is considered low end value product.
I have not used this controller so just going on what I read.

I've read the same thing but then again,I have read what trash Renogy is but I haven't had any issues with the two I have, other than smallish connection ports..I'm looking to get an MPPT 20 amp controller here very soon soon..Epever was on my short list but I may just go Victron and be done with it ..

I have been using a renogy 40amp mppt for two years now and love it. works great, totaly programable if you want or just use there presets.

I have respect for Renogy, I have some of their components and like them. They have gotten used used daily for a few years now and no problems at all.

That being said, I am going to go with Victron for my MPPT charge controller, and most likely my next PSW inverter. I have one of their 375 watt inverters now and am going to go with at least a 1200 watt unit.

  • I have used their 40A controller for 12 years and have had zero problems.

I will tell you these days I see a lot of "Too good to be true" prices posted
    like 60 bucks for a Honda EU-2000i...
  • An 80 amp solar controller is...wow! 14 100 watt solar panels under ideal conditions would be needed to use its full capacity.
