This has been one of my biggest gripes about AAA nickel metal hydride batteries. These critters are not cheap but my 400 lumen light won't shine at 300 lumens fully charged, either. Here is the eBay search term.
2 pcs 1.5v 1100mAh AAA rechargeable li-ion polymer lithium battery
Honorable label incorrect. It says 1100mWh which is ridiculous.
Honorable capacity is 1100mAh in reality
You'll be lucky to find 900 mAh AA's in lithium, and in reality, you might really only get 500 mAh out of them, 45 minutes of run time, if you are lucky. I have one of those Deal Extreme flashlights in AA, with a 3.7V LiIon battery, and it is one really handy light to have, however, I really prefer the life of a charge of an 18650 batteried flashlight even more.
AA LiIon LED flashlight from DealExtreme
Yeah, but are you dead certain you really got a T-6 bin emitter on your flashlight? Those are cutting edge emitters, with bleeding edge pricing when built into a flashlight.
