Each and every TT on a dealers lot is full of formaldehyde. They have NOT changed how they make them. Some have higher concentrations then others.
When I was looking at new ones I could not stand the smell. I would open the door on the ones on the lot and that's all it took for me. I did not go in them. At the time I was looking the Surveyor models were absolutely the worse.
Perhaps some don't have a heighten sense of smell and do not smell the formaldehyde. But I sure CAN.
I did not buy a TT because of it. As most salesman said: "Ah all you need to do is just open the windows the smell goes away." Ya, right. But the formaldehyde is STILL there. :R
