"You would benefit from a couple more batteries. That would alleviate the voltage drop."

Would not phrasing it "THE DROP, IN VOLTAGE," serve better?

It ain't me, it's the terminology :) that's why I use the term VOLTAGE DROOP to keep me out of hot water.
