I purchased a honeywell digital thermostat that operated on batteries to replace my OEM coleman - cost about $20 as I recall. My old thermostat was inaccurate and when the air conditioner was turned on the fan ran constantly even when the compressor turned off - new thermostat turns off the fan when the air compressor shuts down - downside I lost the "fan only" feature but I never used that anyway.
