I think I'm finally over my boondocker. Boondocking this week and last night batteries got down to around 55%. This morning fired up the generator and charged at 40amps for about 20min and now down to 19amps and slowly going down. I've recovered 20AH compared to the 95AH I used last night. I bet in 30min it's charging at 9amps and it will take all day just to get the batteries close enough for nighttime.
Any thoughts on a different converter? Right now I'm 2feet from the batteries and using #4 wire.
I'd think a decent converter would boost until like 80%.
