If there is no such thing as an 8.5 inch 100, Errin will not need it tested for amps output.
Apparently there is a 100amper that does have only three fuses, which is confusing to me, but that still leaves the length. Your new 100 has four as do mine from a couple years ago. Must be a new model with three.
Anyway, do have him call as there may be more to it if it is another wrong sticker issue this time from a different supplier. It is important to return the old one if there will be a swap so they can poke over the old one. - joelabqExplorer IIIAdmittedly, I don't even know if there is a problem? This pics are from my uncle's pmbc100, which is what's on the label.
The pictures have all the measurements if that is what your asking?

OK, the idea is for your uncle to call Errin directly and get it all sorted out. - BFL13Explorer II

Thanks. Ok, so your uncle's unit is 8.5 inches while my 100 is 10.5 inches. It says 14.6v on it, but the latest PMBCs are 14.8v ISTR.
I think it must be a PM3 style PMBC but it should still be 10.5 inches to be a 100. I will try to find out about that. - joelabqExplorer IIIThis pics are from my uncle's pmbc100, which is what's on the label.

It is a PMBC - Amazon link
To clarify - This unit is the PMBC ordered from Amazon. My link shows that, I just didn't type it right (the letters get my confused since they are so close).
I did not intent to lead anyone to the conclusion that was wrong because it did not have the adjuster/display, but that this one is just one without that optional item.
Also - like I said Errin has been great. I am posting this to clarify that what I thought was possibly a mislabeled product from Randy appears not to be. I do not know what the output issues are with this smaller unit, nor do I know if the one my uncle has does not produce what it's labeled to. So hopefully this clarifies that it is very possible Randy isn't just re-labeling stuff.
I have swapped the product with the one Errin sent, and all is well. The converter I received originally could not push more than 75amps. With the same wiring, I have now tested an output of 96 Amps on 40% depleated GC2s. I could only guess why, so therefore I am not going to.
I am trying to state facts as I see them. I hope none of my posts are taken as a bad review of Powermax. I am currently very happy, and I recommend the product.
Joel
Ok that Amazon one is from boatandrv. They sell PM3s so I don't know the specs for the PMBC version of one of those. Although it might be they are selling the latest version like in the PowerMax site, don't know.
The pics in your link today- please clarify!! Pics of what exactly? Your 75 or your uncle's "100" ????
You could ask your uncle what it says on the label exactly (PM3-100? PMBC-100? ) and how long is it (100a length or the shorter length like the 75's

I've read these post and finally have to comment. I am errin ceo of powermax. Powermax did what know one else would do for you guys and built a custom unit. PD iota parallax and wfco didn't give you guys the time of day. Do we have it perfect no but at least we are trying. When we adjust these units with much higher voltages the amps will drop I hope you guys all know this. You guys are taking shots at us when you don't even understand the products your buying. No where in any literature does it say a pmbc comes with a meter or dial. A pmbc is made for bmw. If you just keep saying bad stuff about our product don't buy it. We have 40000 happy customers. If your reading this thread to try to determine what to buy these guys are pointing you in the wrong direction. Call me I'll explain to you what their not. If you are going to continue to just rip our product just don't buy it. To this day I have never got one of these units back. It's easy to come on here and complain and keep the product. It must be doing something right. My personal email and number are at the bottom call me if you want the truth. BTW randy is a great guy and if talked to with respect would help anyone with any issue
Please oh please offer an option that can delay the transfer of absorbsion voltage at limit to float. A 1-4 hour delay allows batteries to use a lower absorbsion voltage value for a longer length of time. This is CRITICAL for correct battery charging, both for flooded and absorbed glass mat accumulators. This point is what is missing on all "smart" battery chargers. When I say all, I mean 100.00%
I wish to see if Power Guy manages time to answer this query... - joelabqExplorer IIIIt is a PMBC - Amazon link

I do have yet another plot twist though. My uncle ordered a PBMC-100 from amazon, received one like the one Randy sold me but with no adjuster or display.
PMBC-100 from amazon
I haven't brought it over to my house yet to test the output. More to come on that one but it'll be a few weeks more than likely before I'll have time.
Joel
Joel, much confusion, please clarify before Errin blows a gasket.
-You say your uncle ordered a PBMC-100 (Randy sells the PBMC, Errin makes PMBCs)
-Your link says PMBC but shows pictures of a three-fuse model so is it a 75 or a 100?
-Have you a link to that Amazon site your uncle used so we can see what it says about the source and the other details?
Note that the actual Errin type PMBC has an "optional adjustable" you have to order specially, but that the Randy PBMC is specifically the adjustable version of his version of a PM.
So we need to see that Amazon advertisement to understand what is going on.
