air conditioner leaking water into camper

I have a 3 year old Coleman Mach air conditioner. It is leaking water into the coach. I pulled the plastic shroud off to look for drain hoses but couldn't find one. The front part of the AC is sealed and I didn't want to take out all the screws. I did take a small stick and moving it carefully under the side of the sealed part I did get water rushing out onto the roof but I am still getting an occasional drip inside. Any ideas?
Thanks
  • edatlanta could be on your Christmas card list with his good suggestion. Worked for me a year or two ago.
  • Ours dripped once when at the beach, high humidity. If it does it again, I'll be checking the drain lines.
  • Ch the condition of the gasket between the a/c and the roof. New this gasket is almost 1" thick and compresses over time. You will see 4 hold down screws, one in each corner of the a/c. These get loose over time as the gasket gets older and compresses. You may just need to tighten these screws a little. They should be just a hair more than hand tight.
  • If it's an occasional drip it may just be condensation forming on cooled parts after the air leaves the evaporator fins. Is it very humid? This happened to us in our old poorly-insulated TT down on the hot texas coast.
