air conditioner recall now not working

Dometic has a 2 year warranty. Doug

The wiring recall has zero chance to mess this up- it is all done from inside- the Dometic has 2 power lines at the control box- one power in, the other power out to the thermostat. Keystone lust used one, connecting the thermostat power and box power together, which is not good. They basically had no reason to do anything on the roof unit.

Take it back. Have them fix what they broke. They need to be your first contact!

Well you don't know that quite yet.
Partly because we don't know for sure that the compressor IS running.

If the compressor is running but it is not cooling, it has a leak, and needs to be replaced. The timing vis-a-vis the recall was just a coincidence .

I think you should take it BACK to the place that did the recall repair. There is a good chance that they screwed something up in the process.....and the expiration date of your original warranty should mean nothing.
