Air conditioning on solar
So today I put together the three solar systems on the 8-D, hooked up the PowerJack inverter and then the 5000 BTU air conditioner. The Air conditioner is a Frigidaire unit that uses 446w/ 3.9a @120v....

80F with 85% R/H
Have you ever shivered at dawn at 80F? The effect of relative humidity on comfort is wacky. I've expeienced nose-bleeds at 0F with 0% humidity.
Temperature is half the issue. Humidity is the other half.
I grew up in lower Michigan with high humidity and extreme temps. 70 in the shade and the sweat rolls off and you will never be dry. Here it can be 105 and 7%, between the two I prefer the low humidity.
