My breaker is a double pole. 30(main) and 20 (ac)... With the heat and the main 30 amp on same breaker, the breaker tripped too many times. Replaced it. OK now. Know you said you had put a new one in, but maybe it is bad, too.
What else is running while a/c is on? Overloading and breaker getting too hot?
